Lasertube

Replacing a CO2 laser tube is inevitable; lifetime varies based on type, quality, temperature, power output, and mechanical load. When choosing a tube, be sure to select one that matches your laser machine; other parts of the machine are designed for the power of the tube.

These tubes are designed to work with MetaQuip CO2 machines, and may also work with many others. We cannot guarantee this, and unfortunately laser tubes cannot be returned.

Guarantee

The supplier runs rigorous tests at 80% power, in a controlled environment and steady temperature. Under these parameters, the following lifetime is attainable:

• 1500-2000 hrs for 40W & 60W tubes
• 6000-8000 hrs for 80, 100, 130 and 150W tubes

In actual use, the lifetime of the tube may be reduced due to changing conditions than the initial test conditions of the supplier; such as switching the tube on/off, or using it for less than the suggested 80% load.

Therefore, typically, the lifespans are:

• 6 months for 40 & 60 Watt tubes
• 9 months for 80, 100, 130 and 150 Watt tubes.

Installation and tuning by our experienced technicians will secure the above guarantees in a MetaQuip machine. We can however only offer a 3-month warranty on laser tubes that you install yourself.

Glass tubes are breakable, so we don't use regular package services, which can't guarantee their safe transport. We use a special courier to ensure they arrive in one piece-but shipping costs are higher.
