ASA

Winkle ASA filament (1.75mm or 2.85mm) is crafted in Spain for 3D printers with FFF / FDM technology. ASA is acrylonitrile styrene acrylic, designed to perform better than ABS. Compared to ABS, ASA fortifies weather resistance, holds firm in UV rays, and preserves its mechanical features. Spherical particles of lightly cross-linked acrylate rubber replace ABS butadiene rubber, grafted to copolymer chains embedded in a styrene-acrylonitrile matrix. Acrylate rubber has no double bonds, offering 10 times more weather & UV resistance, higher heat resistance, and better chemistry strength than ABS. ASA has low glass transition temp, providing better low temp properties and is significantly more resistant to environmental stress cracking than ABS. ASA boasts high resistance to outdoor weathering, preserving gloss, color & strength. Plus, ASA is chemically & heat-resistant, has good antistatic properties, is rigid & resistant.
